Ayesha Samdani was born and raised in Pakistan. She immigrated to United States after completing her MA degree in Fine Arts. She also earned an MFA in Abstract Painting from Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
Through fine art she has learned a way to express the feelings and emotions of her heart. Painting is her passion and she has been painting and drawing for the last twenty years.
Samdani creates abstract paintings inspired by organic shapes found in nature. The limited color palettes and translucent layers in her paintings convey different moods of seasons. She uses oil paints to express her emotions. Her motivation is to create abstract paintings which convey vivid, soft and dynamic sensations.
Currently she is living and painting as a full-time artist in Fremont. She is represented by John Natsoulas Gallery in Davis, California. She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, including the Islamic Art Exhibit at the Sun Gallery in Hayward and Triton Museum in San Jose.
