David Casella earned his BFA from the Maine College of Art with an emphasis in Metalsmithing and Jewelry in 1996. Currently, he designs and creates his own unique jewelry and metal work for a variety of venues through his San Francisco studios, D.A.C – METALS.
Besides working with precious metals, Casella practices steel fabrication and has been employed as a coppersmith. He works on private commissions, participates in selected juried shows, does contract work, and has had his work shown in Bay Area galleries. Casella is also a member of the Metal Arts Guild of the Bay Area teaching workshops and participates in juried exhibitions.
