Kevin Moore’s powerful desire to become an artist first began as a child while living in Africa, where he was constantly drawing and creating his own images. Further inspired by his successful uncle, Chuck Forsman, and artists Marilyn Minter and Gerhard Richter, Moore graduated from the Academy of Art University and is now nationally renowned for his stunning approach to contemporary realism.
In his current work, Moore focuses on his fascination for low resolution images widely available on the internet and generates dynamic representations of images ranging from subjects such as basketball to the paintings of Vermeer. Moore is represented exclusively by Hespe Gallery in San Francisco, where he completed his fifth solo exhibition. He has also been profiled in American Art Collector, ARTnews, and Southwest Art. Moore is currently a faculty member at the Academy of Art University.
