Thomas Durham

Currently the Director of Fine Arts Sculpture at the Academy of Art University of San Francisco, Thomas Durham is a professional member of the National Sculpture Society, winner of the Lorenzo de’ Medici Award from Florence Italy.

He has worked with EIS Sculpture Studio, the largest Figurative Sculpture Studio in NYC and has exhibited with Spoleto USA. Durham creates sculptures that stem from the styles of the Italian Renaissance.

He is known for both his realistic commissions as well as his individual work that combines myth and reality of hybrid sculptures which allude to mythology and express personal and social ideas of today. These creations are featured in Sculpture Review magazine. He is also featured in two recent books 100 Artists of the Male Figure, and Gods and Goddesses by Michael Publishing LLC.
